Long engaged in the clinical, research, and educational work of cardiac and great vascular surgery, dedicated to basic and clinical research in heart transplantation and aortic aneurysms. Led projects such as the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) and National Key R&D Program of China. Published over 120 SCI papers in high-impact journals such as Cell, Immunity, and Cell Metabolism as the first author or corresponding author. Awarded three First-Class Awards of Hubei Scientific and Technological Progress. Contributed to the authorship of several monographs, including "Cardiovascular Surgery Today," "Cardiopulmonary Transplantation," and "Key Points, Difficulties, and Strategies in Cardiac Surgery." Serves as a member of the Asian Association for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (ATCSA), a committee member of the Chinese Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Chinese Society of Organ Transplantation, Vice President of the Hubei Medicine Association, and Honorary Chairman of the Hubei Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Society. Appointed as an editorial board member for several journals, including "Chinese Journal of Experimental Surgery" and "Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Edition)."
